As a Family Physician of almost 30 years, I had successfully recertified since 1978. However in 2003 I failed to pass the board examination as the field and the questions have become too complex for the average aging family doctor. I made two more unsuccessful attempts to pass the exam and finally passed in December of 2004 having received the results today Jan. 20, 2005. The only thing I did differently in this fourth attempt to pass the Family Practice Board exam was to use your three volumes of Family Practice questions from Medtext Medical World Inc. The questions on the December 2004 exam were still highly specialized requiring an intense knowledge of many areas of medicine, yet your questions prepared me well for the exam and I achieved forty composite points above my last failed attempt at the ABFP exam. Thank you so much for your help and please keep producing these volumes of questions--they got me recertified at age 62 after 30 years of practice.
