Medtext Medical World, Inc. was founded in early 1990 by Gregory A. Smith, M.D. in New York City, New York. In 1992 the business was relocated to Redondo Beach, California. In 1997 Medtext became a privately-held corporation and has now emerged as the number one source of review materials for physicians who are trying to pass their medical subspecialty board exams.
